Parents of Autistic Children

Parents of Autistic Children

Below you will find a list of parents with autistic children. In time the list will grow larger – if you come across a blogging parent of autistic children, that you feel should be mentioned here (or ARE you yourself an autie parent), I will appreciate a tip, so I can add it to the list. Do note that I do not accept blogging autie parents that promotes neurotypical superiority.

Beth Anne writes about her adventures in the world and about eating disorder recovery – she is also an autism mum and when she does share her experiences and thoughts, she does so with a big heart. She can also be followed via Instagram and Twitter – and I would advice you to do so. Links to these platforms is easily located on her site.

Kerry is a bookblogger, who consumes books at impressive speed. She’s also both an autism mum and has worked as a teacher for SEN children. Reading her post on SEN children in the classroom really got me thinking about how big a difference ACTUAL inclusion has on spectrum children.

Troy Camplin is not only a parent raising an autistic child – he is an autistic parent. Needless to say, there is a lot of great posts waiting to be read and I really appreciate and love his perspective as an autistic parent.
